Big Up Studios: Booking and Cancellation Policy
This policy ensures we can fairly manage our scheduling and provide the best service to all our clients. By booking an appointment with Big Up Studios, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Appointment Confirmation and Reminders
All bookings require a valid credit card on file to secure the reservation. We will send at least two reminders (via email and/or text) before your appointment:
A reminder approximately 1 week before the booking.
A final reminder approximately 24 hours before the booking.
2. Cancellation Policy (Rescheduling/Changes)
We understand that conflicts arise. We require adequate notice to fill the slot with another client.
For cancellations or rescheduling requests made more than 72 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time, there will be no charge. Your booking deposit (if applicable) will be fully refunded or transferred to your new appointment.
For cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 72 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time, the card on file will be charged a Late Cancellation Fee equal to 50% of the total service cost.
3. No-Show Policy
A "No-Show" is defined as any client who fails to arrive for a scheduled appointment at the designated time without providing any prior notice.
If you No-Show for your appointment, the card on file will be charged a No-Show Fee equal to 100% of the total service cost.
Future appointments for clients with a No-Show history may require full prepayment at the time of booking.
4. Late Arrival Policy
We pride ourselves on starting and ending appointments on time.
If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we may not be able to provide the full service.
The service time will be reduced to fit the remaining window. You will still be responsible for 100% of the original service fee.
If you are so late that we must cancel the appointment entirely (e.g., if it impacts the next client's booking), it will be treated as a No-Show (Section 3).
5. Chargeback Dispute Policy
By agreeing to this policy, the client acknowledges the fees outlined in Sections 2 and 3 and agrees that these charges are valid compensation for lost business due to a late cancellation or no-show. In the event of a chargeback filed for a No-Show or Late Cancellation Fee, Big Up Studios will utilize this signed policy and documented appointment records to defend the charge.
